HAVE TO START FROM SCRATCH-BIG HOLE BETWEEN GAMES

It appears that you guys left a hole that connects Political Machine 2012 to Political Machine 2008. Somehow this hole got activated and it wiped out everything from political machine 2012 that I created. The candidates,  the candidates modifications, maybe even the issue mods. Everything is scrap. And what is worst is that the new game merged into the old game. The whole thing is kaput.

I didn't do anything that would have brought this about.  I am utterly astounded at how people who are supposed to be  reputable independent game developers could make such a glaring error. What was I supposed to do, de-install the 2008 version before I installed the 2012.

I am trying very hard to be polite, but I am quite annoyed.  How do you propose do fix this?

You should probably email [email protected]

Describe what happened, what you were doing when it happened, things like that.

Also, mods are not supported and are always "use at your own risk".

I knew that mods weren't supported but the game developers had no business leaving a hole between the two games.  If the second game was an expansion pack, then they could be connected. But they are supposed to be separate.

The whole thing is wiped, including all of the games I played.

Did you even test to see if there was such a glitch?

I was doing nothing. I turned on the political machine 2008 to see the new russ feingold and bobby jindal characters there. I ended up seeing all of my 2012 characters there.

my 2012 is blank...........

Now, I de-installed everything including steam. When I try to reinstall, it says that the program files x86 \steam\ still exists, even though I removed it and I have to find another folder.
