Kickstarter just rocks. Forget about the AAA projects that has gone into DRM hysteria and always online mode. I have lost faith in Heroes of Might and Magic (online requirements), CIV (CIV IV best game ever, CIV V first civ game I did not buy), Sim City (lets pretend there is a world economy to force people to always be online) +++

For me medium projects are now the most interesting. Kings Bounty, Fallen Enchantress, Defense Grid 2, Warlock: Master of the Arcane, Endless Space and so on.
