Polling is off

I've played quite a few multiplayer games with a friend of mine on various network connections and various distances between us (same room, different state, etc.) and we've noticed that polling is different on each of our games. For instance, on his computer, he will be ahead in Pennsylvania with polls at 51% to my 49%. However, my computer will say that I'm ahead with 50% to his 49%. So when the game ends, my polling will say that I should have won a state when, in fact, he won it.

Very frustrating!!  XO   :typo:

There is margin of error built into each candidate's polling.  (+-3% I think)  It gives you a fairly accurate prediction, but as in real life, is not 100% certain.

Even after the game is over, my map still has me ahead in states I lost though.

Yea my friend is right because for example after election day when you view the map and Ohio is blue and on my game it shows 51-48 in my favor and on his it shows him 50-49 in his favor. I understand if there is a margin of error polling wise but we don't get a margin of error in results that would be dumb.
