RightClick'ing again.

RightClick'ing again.

Well, not really 'sneak previews', just showing off what I'm tinckering with.

You might know some of'em. ;)
And more in the workings... These are just the result of some 4 hours of work.

I've set up an extra PC running Windows XP, purely for skinning RightClick again. That's dedication, ay? (Shakes fist at Stardock)
I might even take up skinning WB again (XP only) IF I can get hold of an older version of SKS, v5 perhaps.
The one on the old SDC (SKS 6) just won't play nice.

this is just guessing (might have no effect):

try adjusting the jDeskWorkArea for each desktop, so that it does not overlap with the area of the extra taskbars.

*jDeskWorkArea mon1 "0,0,1600,850"   (for a 1600x900 desktop with a 50px taskbar height for example)

Yeah, I thought about that too, but it made no difference either.
The resolution for all monitors are 1680X1050, so I set the coordinats to "0,0,1680,1000".
At first I set the area to "0,0,0,1000". Didn't do much either....

Just a thought.... (might make me look stupid) but....
In theme.rc there's a line

include "$ConfigDir$jdesk.rc"

but there is no such file in that dir.... Could that be it?
(Remember, I have absolutely no knowledge of how LS works)

;)

I'll investigate more in the morning. Am getting a bit cross-eyed, so I'd better f'off to bed.

doesn't really matter in this case where you put the setting as long as it is included.

step.rc is loaded for all themes and profiles.

all settings can be user- or theme-specific. then you would have to put the setting in a file that is user/theme-specific.

you could have a look at xDesk and use it instead of jDesk. maybe it plays nicer with DisplayFusion.
