Can't activate

Bought on Steam, weird errors

I've made a support ticket for this as well, but maybe someone here knows a solution;


I've bought this game, The Political Machine, via Steam but when I start it, I get a Startdock Account Registration Screen. When I try to use that I get an error stating

"The connection with the server has been reset or terminated, or an incompatible SSL protocol was encountered. For Example, WinHTTP version 5.1 does not support SSL2 unless the client specifically enables it."

It then refuses to start the game with the error message "An error has occoured activating the producht"

How do I fix this?

This error is still not solved.

I can login using a different connection, but multiplayer isn't responding at all. Can't login at all.

I am beginning to think this is a router issue. However, the router I use is as simple as they come, just a standard ubuntu gateway box that doesn't touch the packets.

Can someone from stardock please respond?
