I highly doubt there are any available games that aren't friends only on vanilla sins. If you want to play online get Rebellion.

So basically i have to add friends manually in Sins? Just bought Sins Trinity from Steam and there aren't any games online in Ironclad. It sucks!

Thought there would be a online games browser or something like starcraft.

Yes, trinity was not a steamworks game, so it doesn't really interact with any steam features at all. Rebellion does have shared friend lists. And ICO is the game's browser, its just you may have to wait for the weekends to get a game on trinity.

Actually I have heard some people say there are still people in Diplomacy on the weekends.

That's a shame! So i threw my money on Sins for nothing. Bought this game only to play against others.

So which Sins of Solar Empire does interact with Steam except Rebellion?

Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion is the only title in the series which uses Steamworks.

Why doesn't Trinity use Steamworks, does it matter you can't play multiplayer in any of the versions except Rebellion.

Trinity was released when Stardock had its impluse store that was competing with steam. They since sold that off to Gamestop, so they eventually released it on steam but it plays exactly like getting it in retail. Friend lists really don't matter online, and again you may find something on the weekends. Or you could try to arrange a game here on the forums.

If you do end up getting Rebellion, you can still get a $10 discount for owning trinity if you order from this site. That's just as cheap as it was during the steam sale but still, it will help.

Find what, where? There's two types, Ironclad online which is like playing over LAN, seems i have to add players manually and LAN Multiplayer which is what it says. Wish there were something like blizzards bnet. Even Diablo 1 have better multiplayer capabilities and it's 15 years old!!!

Ironclad Online works, but its a bit confusing at first it may look like there is no players there and you need to "add" players.

What this actually means is you have to choose a player name for yourself to use in the games, and type it in the empty player list then click "add player" to add that name as a usable player-name for you.

You can then click "use player" to connect as that player-name, to the chat lobby and/or use the join games
