GalCiv2 Ultimate + Collector's Edition?

I picked up the collector's edition of GC2... not too long after it came out, as I recall.

Earlier today, I got GC2 Ultimate Edition on Steam. (Yay sale.)

How do I enable the collector's edition content for GC2 Ultimate? I went to the page that the collector's edition flyer thing told me to, but when I ran the download from there, all it did is install the desktop - it didn't mention anything about the CE content.

The in-game content was released to all owners of GC2 back in one of the vanilla patches, as I recall. So you should already have the extra ship parts in the designer.

I just purchased the Steam Version of GalCiv2 as well and found some fantastic ship designs to load into the game. None of the designs that require "collectors edition parts" load properly though.

There are always pieces missing and the ships are not complete, although they do load into the game.

Am I missing something?

The layout of the ship design files changed between expansions.  That might account for the designs not coming out as expected.

OK, thanks. Is there anywhere I can download some cool ships for the current version of the game? Or does anyone have any they would like to share?
