Sometimes the acronym "AAR" refers to an "After Action Report".  That is: it's an analysis of (or commentary on) something shortly after it's been completed (or reached some stage of completion).  In other words, it could be Frogboy's summary statement regarding what features will be in the Beta 4, and/or a heads-up regarding issues that he would like feed-back on (at least, as he is thinking about it, at this point in time). 

However ... there are so many obscure and bizarro acronyms used by Computer People      that it could mean just about anything!  So anyways, Kongdej, I  ALSO  hope that someone smarter than me will answer your question ...  

Thanks Orion, your version is an acronym not used in Denmark anyways, so I would have no chance to know that

Wow. Beta 4 graphics rock!

As a followup to Orion's post, an AAR in the context of a strategy game is where you play through it once, and write up what happened, what you were doing at each stage, post pics along the way, etc.

 Edit: Here  is an example of an AAR for Crusader Kings 2.

This is what I mean, also referred to by the Frog himself as gameplay examples.

I'd like to see an AAR of Brad's latest AAR. It looks very relaxing.

Is Derek there, too? Haven't heard from him for a while, so I assume he's adrift in the water somewhere in that photo. Please don't forget to bring him home with you (he's kinda involved in this project called Elemental: Fallen Enchantress).

Derek's very busy with making sure Fallen Enchantress is awesome.  He's been working crazy hours for the past several months straight.  That and he doesn't type 120wpm like I do.

So this means there will be boats?  And...inflatable rafts?

Im starting to feel very old.... But what does that mean? ^^

And I noticed too, that you've written five replies (#16, #18, #22, #42, and #44) of the first 45 or so, in the Discussion Thread entitled: "New Beta4 Pics at Gamespot".  That Reply #42, in particular, really tells us a  LOT  about the new City Building and City Specialization features that are due to show up in the Beta 4.  So much tantalizing detail ...

You are such a P.T. Barnum, or Ed Sullivan, (in other words a real Master Showman), aren't you ? ...

And apparantly, you just can't seem to help it ...                     

So am I to read into that boat comment that there will be a merchant marine guild that we pay to cross water?

I cant wait to see random caravans travelling by water too!... Although as I said before, I will not hold my breath until boating comes to the game as it kills one of the games barriers ^^
