I tried getting a photo of my ex but i couldn't hire a plane for the aerial photograph needed. A wee bit large she is now

I find it interesting that folks will keep photos of their ex's.   

What just are you wanting to remind yourself of?

Some people keep photos of their exes for their kids sakes.  Others keep them because those people were important in their lives at some stage, and sometimes moving on requires knowing/remembering where you've been.

I have some photos stashed away somewhere, but that's it.... stashed away and not looked at very often, if at all.  Besides, what if the cops came knocking on the door and asked if I had a photo to help them identify her/them?  I mean, it's not likely or something I'd want, but it's another thought as to why people keep these things... you never know when they might be needed.

As it happens, I recall a time when I'd met these people and we all got talking about ourselves, etc, and the conversation came to ex-wives and girlfriends.  When I spoke of mine 1st wife it was mentioned that they thought they knew her, and as it happened, it was confirmed they did when I was able to produce a photo of her. 

So yeah, there are reasons to keep such things, and if it's not for some morbid reason I personally cannot see the harm.

I once did a very childish thing with a pic of an ex.  Found out she was cheating on me, so I put a nude pic of her up on a lot of websites.  I feel shameful of it now looking back. 

Oh, I'm still in here... just that one of the 'multiples' decided to get up and have a sensible say.

Hopefully it won't happen again. 

I mean, I don't want people knowing there's a more mature, all growed up side of me, do I?

Dunno, it seems the right thing to do... to be absolutely sure she's not never gonna knock on the door or ring ever again.

Actually, I do hear from her occasionally... usually in connection with one of the kids, but she's not exactly in my life and visa versa.  We didn't always get along [more from her perspective than mine], but these days we are friendly and get along fine, which seems to make the kids happy.

I had nude photos of an ex [not my 1st wife but an ex g/f after her], but I don't think I could ever done something like that. 

For one, I wouldn't want anyone else to see what I was getting.... and two, don't know of any sites that allow that sort of thing.

Nah, seriously, if she trusted me to have those images, then I needed to respect that trust, despite having parted and gone our separate ways.
