The beta pitch, pre-orders, and ad campaign was good and got the sales, but I can't help but think of how the multiple issues still unresolved are hurting Rebellion in the short and long run.  I know a few people locally who bought Rebellion, not being SOASE fans prior, who are either not playing it or waiting for more patches or they've looked to games in the same genre coming out.

Just an opinion asker.  Last month was release, but we're a month post-release and still multiple issues to resolve.  Do you, the customer or even Stardock in retrospect, feel the game was pushed out prematurely and if so, why?  Do you have the same concerns that issues might significantly hurt Rebellion?

As you were saying Seleuceia, I agree whole heartedly.  Carb... probably not much longer.  You see, I just watched "Diary of a Mad, Black Woman" for the first time.

I wouldn't call it "pushed out the door".  They released it in a less-than-perfected state, but it's not like it was in alpha stage condition.  For an example of "pushed out the door" (in time for the Christmas season) see the complete failure that was Unreal Tournament III.

Also, unless you have the plans for a time machine, posts like this don't help anything. If you feel there are issues, then post constructively about those specific issues.
