Flagship death Bug

Not sure if this is the right category to post in but I was playing a large lan game with some friends and we had the flagship death victory option enabled. I was randomly told several hours into the game that I was defeated due to losing my flagship yet I, and all the remaining players of the game, could still clearly see my flagship was still there and not even damaged. I was warping it through my own friendly territory and my home planet/capital was at 115% allegiance. regardless of this it says I am dead and that became pretty much a waste of 3-4 hours.

If you reload from an autosave right before you lost, did the same thing happen? If you're playing a game with friends and something odd happens, you should always quit and restart from the last save. If it happens again, send the devs an email with telling them what to do to replicate the issue, and I'm sure it will get fixed.
