Forgotten password

need help please

Wanted to use my little Acer today and I forgot the password. Dum dum that I am forgot to write it down. Any ideas?

first idea: Google

second idea: try to log in as administrator in Safe Mode, maybe the password can be left blank

third idea: if the password is not super-complicated Ophcrack might work

There are some tools around that will find it or unlock the computer. Most aren't free, but try THIS free one. You can google for others, most are trials.

Oh, and buy a pencil and some paper. :P
