VERSION OF GAME DOES NOT CHANGE!!!

Hey guys,

i recently got the game sins of.... Trinity. ok version is now 1.05 entrench, 1.3 Diplomaty and 1.19.

Now i looked for a patch for it . I want to play Maelstorm and it kinda requires 1.193. So i downloaded it...from this forum its a rar file and i extracted it and there were a lot of things in it. I placed it to the game and was asked to overwrite things i said yes.

Ok i launched the game and looked at the right side at the bottom and saw that there is still 1.19 wtf??!

The same with entrench and Diplo. ?? I did the same: I downloaded the newest versions and extracted the files and placed them in sins of a solar empire in the folders Diplo and entrench, and overwrote the old things...so whats wrong?




I forgot to mention, that i tried to use than Maelstorm and i enabled it. But then when you see the Main menu , where you choose if you want single player, multiplayer etc., these options disappeared ...it was a box with no options to choose. You chouldnt quit (because after activating you couldnt see the button)...damn i want to play this mod

You do not download updates randomly from the internet, so I don't know what you found. You have to register your game with Stardock. Do that here, then redownload the entire update game, since your installation probably got screwed up with whatever you did. It will then be up to date.

BTW I would get the version of Maelstrom for Diplomacy 1.34, preferably the expanded pack, its a great mod. :thumbsup:

The installation of the game from us, Steam, or GameStop will already be at the latest version. There is no need to obtain patch files from third parties (?!). By doing so you've most likely broken your installation of the game and will need to reinstall/verify via whichever DD platform you're using.
