Where is that update?

We are waiting for beta 4 I think.
Cant say that officially though.

Yup nothing till beta 4, although they have fixed a couple of bugs.  I'm not sure of the technical aspect, but since you have to be online to play the beta they can fix simple things without posting any download.

I am not happy about this. We have been through faction differentiation, but still some factions dont really work as intended (henchmen that can be designed, but not built and so on). I would have thought that they could have made a bugpatch so that we could test more while the new beta is on the way. But what do I know....

And bring Umber back..

I've set E:FE aside until Beta 4.

It's a pretty fun game as is, but all that can be said prior to Beta 4 has been said and we need new changes to get all up in arms about. 

All joking aside. I can't wait for the next Patch. It is going to come with desperately needed changes to one of the last major overhauls needed. Hopefully, it will include some refinements to the Champion Trait System, and the Magic System (as discussed on the forum quite a bit) since thy still need some love before release.

It would also be nice to see a spell that is late in the spell tree, which as a community event, after enough castings, gives joasoze the ability to play with Umber as a defined faction. I'm not entirely sure, but I think he may have mentioned once or twice that it would be an ok thing to have Umber back.

Made me smile with that one, would really make my day if it happened. I have moved on to Warlock: Master of the Arcane. Will be back to FE later of course.

You are about as hell-bent on getting Umber back as I am about getting a Magic System that isn't monotonous.

What about Capitar?  I hope Umber and Capitar come back as part of an expansion!

I am sorry but Capitar lost The Game of Thrones, and its former king can be found in the moat of the Umber castle Greendale

And just where is Umber now, apart from a lesser minor faction?  Umber doesn't even have a proper Sovereign!

Infidel! Bow or be crushed in multiplayer! Even my custom Umber sovereign can eat you as luch The special faction abilities are for weaklings!

Would love to see the devs give some love to the 2 missing factions though, and then releasing them (Please dont hide them too badly, just give me a button to unlock it, I said it before: I play from "fresh" computers once in a while when I want to play with my friends, and it would be a shame to see the locked content be permanently locked just because I switch computers (and therefore progress).

If they need help with umber ideas, I volunteer Joazoze as a slave worker.

I also put FE aside until Beta 4.  Knowing new toys are coming is a big turn-off untll they come.

Been playing a ton of VF5; Final Shodown and Drox Operative lately, and finished Ys Origin last night.

I too am holding off till beta 4 is out.

Beta 4 - as currently build stuffs up every time I use pillar of flame to defend oncoming armies.

Well this is disappointing. Beta 4 isn't due for another month or two, right?

As near as I can tell, the last official pronouncement on this subject was the 1st main point listed in Frogboy's Forum thread entitled:  "Elemental: June 2012 Status".  The complete quote was:

" When will Beta 4 come out?  The best I can say is "The Summer".  It definitely won't be out in June but might make it in time for July. "

That's the latest reliable (or semi-reliable) word that I have seen ...   

I'm expecting that means week 3-4 of July at the absolute earliest with my own personal guess being the first week of August.

I hope that means that Beta 4 includes not just a rich and improved city system, but also the a bit of polish on the Character Trait system and a lot of polish on the fundamentals of the magic system.

I'd play as a Faction with NO Magic abilities for 1 week to get an update at the end of that week.

I want a update every week or my money back.

I wonder... Can I get my money back if I got Elemental:FE for free? (I'm kidding. No seriously! Don't remove me from beta! :'()
