Exact same thing here.  Uninstalled Sins and re-installed and same thing still happens.  Some change between last beta and release makes cycling folders in the map screen cause Sins to do something bad it seems...

still getting old version i think multy is broke would help if they would say something on steam or in here but like other games bad comms

found out that its the galaxy forge map editor, needs to be updated.  take the maps out of the galaxyforge folder and throw them into another folder where your game cannot find them.  just have to wait till a patch fixes the problem.

Same deal here. Very annoying. Wish I could go back to the beta to play my maps again.

My maps work just fine with version 1.02. Its probably some maps of yours are no longer compatible. You'll need to update them for them to work again.

i got the same, this kinda sucks as i really wanted to try out my new map, but removing it out of the folder does work. looks like we are going to have to wait until they update galaxy forge like vita158 said

I also have this issue since 1.02 was downloaded, and am currently working on updating my map updater, but am having an issue  with the exact map structure, so have no idea when my map updater will be into beta.

Stupid question but how do I update my maps GoaFan77? Used to be a simple change of the version number in the txt file but no longer.

back in sins vanilla 1.05 it was a number change AND one line added in the start area, in vanilla sins 1.10 it was a number change AND another line added in the start area, and with vanilla sins 1.15/entrenchment it was a LOT more than a number change and a added line, it was five changed lines and five added lines per planet, start, template and player areas.

as for converting the maps it has been suggested that the galaxyforge in the steamapps/common folder might be able to do so, but I have not tested this.

Sadly it won't even open the older versions. It was worth a shot and I thank you for the suggestion because I had not even considered the Galaxy Forge in Rebellion would be updated.
