Master DX Skins (Updated)

Hey guys. I have decided to go the route of some of the great artists here at WC , like 2of3, lightstar, and Vampothika, and make my master skins available as free skins.

 

Selling DX was just an experiment anyway, and it's not nearly as fulfilling as giving them away.  :blush:

 

I get my joy from seeing them in use, and giving them to those who have supported me thus far.

 

I appreciate those of you that bought them, and if I can get a list from WC/SD of purchasers, I'll send out refunds.

 

EDIT: I can't get a list, so send me a screenshot of your purchase, and an address, and I'll send a refund, check or paypal.

 

Look for them a little later today, I'll be reuploading as free skins.

That's very thoughtful of you...thanks. I bought both Imbezeled and Time Machine, and I enjoy both very much. Thanks again for your contributions to WC. I use most of your submissions daily. :thumbsup:

RND has a big heart in case anyone doesn't know it.Much better to have many people enjoy what you made then just a few. Lightstar should be included in this as he puts them out for free faster then I can keep up with.

I do understand however how making a few dollars can be helpful to many. Either way all the skinners and non sknners here are wonderful people.

Some of the WordPress plugin and theme sites have a little donate click in the corner someplace that says, "Buy me a beer" (or Latte as one said) I wonder if Wincustomize would allow that?

Probably not, I'm afraid. Part of the proceeds from each sale go to the cost of this site. WC is not a profitable concern for Stardock, as it does not make enough to cover its cost. Soooo.... SD is unlikely to pass on a revenue source.

I have to agree. The shame of this is for what we can download, upload, and just plain enjoyment for the entire year the fee is not all that high. Guess in some of the prior years it wasn't as much as a problem for people. With the work situation and people having to fight for every penny, it has made things harder for some to part with money that is needed for more important things.

Jack Benny rocks..!! he is one of my many heros. he had a huge radio program called the "Jack Benny Show" sponsers were jello, lucky strike (my fave of course)

and crunchy breakfast grape nut flakes?? (i havent listened to it for ages) but man he was sooo bloody funny, i would giggle all day when i listened to him.

so jim, we have something in common, we both love jack benny.

as for not selling your master skins anymore.... big kudos from me!

anyways....downloads are more priceless to me, and who dosent want a medal?? i do ^_^

Jim. About not charging anymore...How are you suppose to be able to fund the airfair and everything concerning me coming to the States and Airbrushing your car for you without income ?? :(O
