So the new patch just minidumps at the loading screen. I'll minidump it a few times and send starclad a few reports.
I'm fairly sure the minidumps have to do with game resolution, if you go over 1600x900, it'll dump. Would be nice if either it could be set to that rez or lower to start, or just supported the higher ones 
Try the following in Steam.
Library > right-click on Sins:Rebellion > Properties > Local Files tab > Verify Integrity of Game Cache.
We've seen some intermittent issues with the updates not being downloaded/installed properly.
