I wonder what caused this "shift" to the next week (in case it was not planned this way all along). I tried both Vasari factions with current version and both felt quite ready. Perhaps there is still hope they are reconsidering the idea of letting the Vorastra stripping the planets  :dur:

To be honest it was a good idea, but its just to hard to balance something like that.

Stripped to the core is still in the game. It's just not on the Vorastra is all. In fact it's infinitely easier to do than relying on a ship and most likely will be improbable to counter given the time it usually takes to bomb a planet.

Well as much as I was hoping my otherwise terrible week would be counteracted by some Vasari based destruction, its at least good to know there is a plan to have them out next week. Lets hope Tuesday :-)  *crossing every appendage i have*

No kidding.  Titan-dozing is getting awfully tedious, especially in AI games where there's a carpet of mines in nearly every grav well.  I certainly hope we don't have to wait another week for that one.

Yeah, i know. i tried it myself. And its true its easier to do this way, than rely on the titan doing it. But its definitely far less cooler. I reckon this is, how they want it, to let you scuttle all your planets fast, so you have money on research and more ships. I would make it levelable titans ability, able to target only neutral planets - so you would have to abandon your and bomb enemy worlds in order to use it.

At least i can spawn phase stabilisers, teleport and eat enemy ships with it... hope these abilities stay intact and wont be somehow nerfed.

whoa only one more week to play the vasari?

they soudn like they got the biggest change of all races, i would love to try them out finaly.
Normaly im Advent player, but what i heard in the Interview about the Vasari makes me think about to play them.
Suck everything up from planets and turn them into dead asteroids? fun

Sorry the Vasarie will all be out tonight, there is a lot of daemons in town and they all went to the bar, then tomorrow the devs will all call in sick... Like must of us will do cause there is that other game being released...

 

Besides great marketing guys, 1 month after the big hits is usually when people start to look for new titles.
