Transparency issues in WindowsBlinds

I want to apply transparency for the original Windows 7 theme, but it doesn't apply for some reason. Transparency works just fine with other skins. Heres a screenshot for what I mean: http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/6345/screenshotkat.png

This is a purchased Windowsbinds I installed via Impulse. I tried restarting and nothing really changes. I'm also running Win7 64 bit

Well, for one, there's a newer version of WindowBlinds available.  Impulse isn't being used, going forward, for Stardock non-game software, so the update isn't available through there.

Uninstall, reboot, then install from the latest version here:

http://download.stardock.com/

You can also use our new download/install/update tool, Stardock Central:

I used the Stardock Central to update it and nothing really changed. Transparency still not being used. I will uninstall and reinstall to see if anything changes.

EDIT: Uninstalled, reinstalled, still no change.

Make sure you have selected Modified Aero too.

The first two options in the WindowBlinds configuration cannot be modified.

In the screenshot you can see I have that selected. I just crossed out the name because it's showing my full name.

EDIT: I tried to apply textures now and textures work on the window frames but not on the taskbar/start menu. Also the colors only change the behavior of the start menu button and nothing else.

Transparency + textures = transparent textures.  Make sure you are not doubling up.

As it says in the text on the transparency page when you try to edit Aero, the transparency applies to the colour or texture.  The base transparency of the theme (Aero) remains as is.

Don't know if this will help or not, but right click on your desktop, click Personalize, then click Window color and make sure Enable Transparency is checked.

^Alright I guess that was the problem. I went to Personalize > Window Color and Enable Transparency was checked but the slider wasn't all the way to the left, it was centered. Once I moved it, saved it, everything seems to be working out fine. It also fixed the issue of the textures/colors not syncing well with the taskbar/start menu (even though I will never use them). Thanks guys!
