I'm curious. I'd bought the original from Gamestop and the first expansion through the impulse store. Then I bought Trinity through Steam. There doesn't seem to be any kind of offer on their store for this. Do I have to buy it through this store? If so, will it still unlock the game and be played through steam?

Rebellion is a steamworks game, you have to preorder from this site but the code they give you will be redeemed on steam.

Any chance we could know how long this will last? My friend is currently broke and without internet access. I was going to buy it for him, but I'm only allowed to buy one copy. Regardless, thank you for putting Rebellion on sale.

Can't you just log in with his account?

I would suggest sending an e-mail to [email protected].  I don't know if the discount will be available when purchasing a gift, but you should be able to purchase it for someone.

Yeah, it's a great way to stick it to those that bought the Rebellion for beta when it was $39.  So we paid an extra $10 for the privilege of beta testing?

If they don't honor people who already pre-ordered, do they really want us to cancel and then re-up to get the discount? I'm not going to because I had a coupon and the value difference isn't worth the time but it seems a little messed up for people who bought at full price. 

Ouch, bad idea. I felt special for keeping up with your micro expansions and getting rewarded... =( but now you've probably screwed over a bunch of people who preordered it in FULL! Those customers are real dedicated to your vision =(

Do you get the discount if you have the CD version of the game?

Yes, if you registered it. However, I'm not sure if this promotion is still on going. If it is, I guess it wasn't "limited time".

If you have Trinity/Diplomacy registered in our database (which you should if you ran it), you should still be able to get the discount from our store I believe.  Just click on the Purchase button above and login.
