Return of the Fallen Effects Ships it Should Not.

After today's update, Return of the Fallen and Reanimation now work. I was playing a game and I suddenly heard "Reporting for duty." It seems that a Cobalt Frigate appeared at my homeworld. I suspect that Return of the Fallen has a chance to resurrect any ship on the map, regardless if the ship was yours to begin with or not.

Edit: It also appears that it "blends" with Reanimation. What I mean is this. I captured a pirate ship via reanimation. When that ship died (I was attacking a pirate base) I found that same pirate ship at my homeworld. I just got it, so I am not sure if it will expire in ten minutes or not.

I find it fun to rip apart a pirate raid only to send back some of their ship to their world. Granted, they will get destroyed within half a minute, but it is so gratifying knowing that the Advent Rebel's will be that much more of a threat.

I thought this is how it was intended.

In other words, there is a 10 % chance to resurrect a reanimated ship using return of the fallen (In other words, the odds are that every 1 in 100 destroyed enemy ships will return to your homeworld as your new shiny property).

In my game I definitely resurrected quite a few enemy ships, but by no means all of them.  (However, the majority of resurrected ships were enemy ships... including pirate ships, a TEC envoy! and a TEC constructor ship...  but this is prob just because the Advent Rebel fleet rocks and I didn't lose many units...)

Dang it! Why do you have to spoil these awesome things? ;P :P

This is not the first time I have done something like this (different games though.)

It was bound to be noticed/reported anyway, so I collected the brownie points that I could. :P

Dont the TEC have a capital ship with the ability to capture ships I guess Advent do too this will be interesting :D

Yeah, I think the reanimated ships re-spawned on you, which seems alright to me, and I wouldn't expect it to have a timer anymore... except the reanimated ships will definitely die at some point due to their timer...

has anyone reanimated an enemy ship, sent it somewhere safe, watched it expire due to timer and then it was return to your homeworld?

If the enemy shoots it down, it should have a chance to be returned regardless... that seems right. But an argument could be made against it being returned just because the built in timer expired. that seems like it's circumventing the rules

That is exactly why I posted this "bug."

only in that specific situation where the reanimated craft dies by timer and is returned do i feel that is a slight rule circumvention.

The total number of craft affected by this is probably very, very small, and so even if it is not working correctly, I do not feel it is exploitable.

Return of the Fallen affects Illuminator's Illusions. When they die they have a 10% chance to return as real illuminators.

Yes, I saw that in the beta feedback.

Sorry, just making sure it gets read by someone who can do something about it. This thread's getting more attention than mine, it seems.

I just played a game as Advent rebels and I got a TEC Construction Frigate, when I was attacking a TEC plant.

I used it to tear down the remaining structures, it was kind of neat.

I like this Bug, I also got a Raloz Heavy Constructor but I couldn't make a Starbase with it.

I got a LOT ofTrade and Refinery ships.
