I think I really do know what it is and it isn't bugs or cute stuffed toys. Play through the beta when the Vasari are back in officially...there is a stand out clue. No spoilers on this as I am pretty sure I am right.

For everyone pming me to tell them... I won't--it's more fun for you to figure it out. When the Vasari come out, check one of their factions and when you use a certain ability for that faction and if you are paying close attention, then you will see.
When the "leaked" beta was out you could see it then. Now you have to wait. Spoilers are no fun--teasing is though. 
STEAM attorneys are chasing them down for illegally downloading games to that research center.

I can not say. If I told you, the Vasari (one faction of them anyway) would have to kill you.
Hmmm, yes the furby slave race is known to serve their evil masters, the Space Pony Armada.
So it would make sense that the furby's join thier pony masters in an all out war against the vasari, pursuing them to the edges of the universe.
You know it is still really easy to mod the game so that you can play the vasari? I even updated my mod today so it works with the latest beta version. Just do that and you will be able to discover what Sinperium is talking about. If you look close enough...
What does "Them" refer to? Do you mean that the hint was there but was taken out?
My guess is the Vasari Rebels. Some rebel ship has an ability that gives a hint. And I already checked the titan!! I used dev to level it to ten on the occ. planet, and it used like 4 abilities that didn't give any hints.
And when you say "ability", you mean ability as in a ship or structure ability?
And how obvious is this hint?

Curses... I am still at a loss as to what Sinperium and Teun-A-Roonius see.
That was a nanite swarm created by the Vasari's new capital ship.
