Loyalist advent culture

The culture of the loyalist advent is far too powerful. with only 2 civic stations the spread rate becomes incredibly fast. At full research it becomes much stronger than any other factions culture and is nearly unstoppable.

...Seriously? Culture is considered to be pathetically weak. Its supposed to be stronger than any other faction, but its easily countered until they start shooting Deliverance engines at you.

it is the fact that they are able to have such powerful culture at tier 2 that I think is OP, not the culture itself.

But the culture itself is usually so harmless what does it matter? Its a useless bonus, because you'll never win a game with culture against any non-brain dead opponent who has played the game before. ;)

On smaller maps it is actually quite useful. culture is also critical late game for allegiance and the ability to spread it faster and to prevent your opponents culture from spreading is a powerful economic edge. I think that the research for 30% faster culture spread should be moved from tier 2 to tier 3 or 4. it is only OP because it is at tier 2 it should be moved to mid game.

I agree with you that culture will not win the game, but I think that because the no other faction posseses a way to counter culture early-game it should be moved to tier 3 or 4.

It can be extremely annoying if you use a hit squad to bypass a heavily defended choke point and knock out enemy culture centers. They usually rush to build defenses or a small counter fleet. I wouldn't use it more than once in a match but it can be good to start an offensive push when your culture moves in. *cough* 25% damage 10% range.
