Pretty impressive graphic. I didn't know they were that talented. It kinda makes one curious about what it did.
If I nicked that graphic would that be piracy?
That happened awhile ago ... I believe they (the FBI that is) also captured and detained persons not belonging to the united states?
Seems a bit extreme for the "Federal" organization, seeing as that it was a multinational incident.
January 20, 2012, Kim Dotcom, Finn Batato, Mathias Ortmann and Bram van der Kolk were arrested in Coatesville, Auckland, New Zealand by New Zealand Police, following an armed raid on Dotcom's house. His site was shut down the day before.
Ah, good to know. At least it was the New Zealand police that did the arresting ![]()
Yes, but the FBI have taken in people in England before. It's sad when the NWO conspiracy nuts get a point to their credit.
May be sad but at least they were arrested. As for the FBI...he he...they pretty much go where they want, most times.
I thought that was just the CIA? I thought FBI was supposedly more internal affairs? :p
Foreign governments don't like dealing with the CIA because their reputation precedes them. The FBI isn't limited to only domestic affairs. I thought they were too until I've seen them in the news working in other countries. They're not as corrupt as some believe the CIA to be.
I'm not arguing corruption, but people in England have been arrested for online activity that is illegal in America and not in England. I'm sorry, but I think the laws of the country you're in should precede those of other nations. If we're going to hold people to the laws of where the server they're interacting with is located, then people in America should be allowed to gamble online.
I'm sorry, but it's a messed up double standard.
America, England, Australia and New Zealand all have various criminal extradition agreements with one another--just requires mutual consent to use them. So a signatory can request an arrest or extradition which is then subject to approval or rejection by the law enforcement and government it was requested to. Countries sometimes decided to pursue prosecution themselves and then allow the other nation to also file charges on top of it, extraditing them afterwards.
hmm... I apparently started a discussion.
Yes, yes you did.
I dunno. I know a few Brits that are uneasy with who's doing the arrests. I would agree that if such an arrangement is made, at the very least the local authorities should be the ones to bag them. Beyond that, I would prefer countries to have the same laws if they plan to allow enforcement across national borders. How many Americans can honestly say they know piracy laws in any other country or vice versa? Should they have to if they don't live there?
And no, I don't support that idea of global legislation.
Likewise. We're quickly moving from "Police state" to "Police Planet."
@Draakjacht - Yup. I may live in America but the way its run really sucks. Don't get me wrong, I love my country but those in charge need to get their wings clipped big time! Double standards, hypocrisy...it runs the whole gamut.
You can love your country and hate the people running it. I appreciate the Second Amendment, but know that people from both parties push gun control laws that are illogical and want them both to shut it. And yes, it's not just America. As pointed out above, we've got a deal with the Commonwealth to screw many more people at our leisure while other countries just resort to things like genocide. On some level or another, we all have problems.
Apparently the government is cracking down...

I think they're cracking up. There's so much rotten corruption, that it will all fall down unless they continue these fascist plays.

There was/is an edict to that fact.
Did they seize that too? ![]()
