Any plans on converting GC2 for the iPad?

From my perspective GC2 would work great on the iPad. I'm not sure of the developmental costs with converting it to the iPad but I would love to buy this game yet again on that platform at some point.

Anyone else that'd be interested in seeing a release on that platform?

Yes that would be just the game to play while I'm in the Pegasus galaxy knee-deep in Wraith.

:P

Honestly, I have serious doubts about how well the current interface would scale on an iPad.  The turn processing would zap your battery juice.  I don't even want to think about how to work with the ship designer using a touch interface.  On the other hand I know that it looks super on a wall-mounted TV.

Not knowing anything about the technical changes of such a thing, I would definitely be interested in an iPad version of Gal Civ.

In the meanwhile, my favorite iPad game is one that I used to play on a Mac years ago...Spaceward Ho!   Not as in depth as MOO or GC2, but it's challenging and fun.

+1 k just for mentioning Spaceward Ho!  Awesome game in its time.  I might look for a download for my Dell Tablet.  :)

I'm "Mottikhan" over there. (Original, huh?  ;) ) Looking forward to its eventual release.  The holdup was the subscription model, but if the developers settle for tokens or something else that doesn't auto-renew, it'll go through.  I have to agree with Apple's stance on it too.  Auto-renew = auto grab money from your credit card when you're not looking.  Stick by your guns and protect your clients, Apple.  :)
