Rebellion beta will not download

Do you have steam? Do you have beta access? Do you have space on your hard drive? Have you told steam to install the game? Have you had any problems installing other games with steam? Did you have an internet connection when you tried to install it (with steam logged in)?

You also need to have pre-ordered the game in order to be let into the beta, and once you do, you will get an email from Stardock with a code that you enter into Steam.

I had all that it just wouldn't connect to steam or start or anything

You really need to be more specific to get help. 

If you're having trouble with the Steam client (starting, downloading, installing a game, etc.) then you should contact their support: https://support.steampowered.com/

What are the issues you are currently facing?

How about trying this: Try to restart Steam, and see whether it updates when you have restarted it.

If it doesnt, maybe try to do the following:

1. Right click on Rebellion Beta

2. In the Properties dialog box, go to Local Files

3. Then, click the Verify Integrity of Game Cache.

4. It should cross check your current copy with the file on Steam server. If there are any difference between the files, Steam should auto update for you.

Please post update whether this works or not.
