Game Options

A mighty late-comer to this wonderful game here, and I have a question. Under game options there is an option to disable tech trading (pretty self explanatory) and there is also an option to disable tech-bartering (not so self explanatory). What is the difference between the two? There is nothing in the manual about tech bartering, so obviously this is a fair new option. Thanks for any help!

Tech Trading allows you and the AI to buy and sell techs. You can re-sell any techs you bought, too. The AI is doing that constantly. This is called Tech-Bartering (or Tech-Brokering). If you disable it, you and the AI can no longer re-sell techs. Only researched techs can then be sold.
