Request for modifications to this tool

Hi Stardock

A good tool to be sure that will aid me until there are sufficient Metro apps available to avoid the legacy desktop entirely.

Until then though I'd appreciate the following changes to your app:

  1. Please give me the option to NOT associate Start8 with the windows key on the keyboard. I just want to use this with the mouse, I still want the windows key to launch full screen metro as I use that for email and messenger. This needs to be an option (that is off by default) though as I imagine most of the Win8 haters would like to keep it associated with the windows key.
  2. The app list in the Start8 menu does not respond to the scroll wheel to scroll through the apps like the actual start screen does. Please fix this.
  3. Only the Apps, Settings and Files options are selectable to search from. Please fix it so I can search identically to the full screen version including searching within the apps.

I would like to add that I would like the start8 to be user specific. For example, I love the metro style, but a relative of mine prefers the regular start menu. They love it, but we are constantly fighting because when I lock the computer, Metro remains. Then when they log in, they have no idea how to navigate. Vice versa except without the not knowing how to navigate part. ;P
