Trying to acquire some info

from Demigod Forums

Hey guys, when i first noticed this game was out i was thrilled despite the fact that i couldn't buy the game myself but though i played the game in demo, what i was wondering is how popular is this game, and what do i get for the money i pay?(as in multiplayer, new character, bigger talent trees, new items, etc.) just curious..

There's only about maybe 100 people who play. can take up to an hour to get a single game started (lobby waiting) and then probably a 1 in 10 game someone crashes or similar game end. I read a book while I wait in lobby for a game (seriously I do!)

Although the game is AWESOME, many of the 100 people who actually play are very very noob unfriendly.

No new characters just the same 10. 

I got the game for around $5 on some sale. In my opinion it should be free to play because the fact it is so awesome makes the inability to get a game started even more frustrating.

Awesomeness 10/10

Community 2/10

Connections 2/10

Game development/progression/support/updates 0/10

new characters maps, skills.... 0/10

Achievement/player levels/ladder system 0/10

Automatching system non existent.

Campagn/story/tutorial Non existent.

Its a great lan party game, but online I'm thinking I've almost had enough fun after some 200 games.

Well, i love how this game looks and feels while playing that's prob the reason why I've decided to buy it :), hope I'll see you in play some day :)

Be sure to check out the mods (take some time and read the thread).  The combined package, for instance, gets you all the good stuff in one place.  Some of the mods significantly enhance the game.
