Ok, here is the question:
Beta is being released. On both Gamestop(Impulse) and Steam? Steam only? Gamestop(impulse) only?
If Steam only? What about those that Purchased the preorder through Gamestop?
What about those of us that purchased the pre-order through StarDock directly back in March of 2011 when Impulse WAS Stardock? Who are we going to go through to get our game?
I thought they said only those who pre-ordered directly from Stardock would get into the beta (but I could be wrong). I imagine if multiplayer is a part of beta 1, we'll either need to download from Stardock (like the elemental beta) and enter a key into Steam or we'll download it directly from steam.
Waiting... waiting... more waiting.

Has anyone heard about the Corvette class ships? I haven't really seen anything much about them except the short lil gameplay "New corvette class ships use their enhanced speed and maneuverability to weave through the battlefield, inflicting damage to enemy ships’ systems." info.
Yeez people I will say this for the last time, since it has been said so often by the dev's already:
NO MATTER WHERE YOU HAVE PRE-ORDERED YOU WILL NEED TO INSTALL THE STEAM CLIENT AND THE BETA WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD THERE AS SOON AS IT BECOMES AVAILABLE.
You need to create a Steam account and tie your beta code (which you will receive per e-mail) to that account in order to be able to install and download the game.
Does this clear up a few things Falcon?

But to do that, we need the beta keys. Stardock, we're all waiting on you.
No, it is Microsoft fault... since Stardock have try win8 , there is a permanent bug in their electronic calendar... all date are shifted with one month...
It was not planned to have a Rebellion beta release on the 1 March.... what was really planned is a 1 April joke...
That helped SteelFin plus this email reply from Stardock Sales:
Not happy about the Steam requirements, have some bad blood between them and me and problems with their service that they didn't want to support or help me with an issue caused by their system, just take my money was all... (told to live with my loss until I had outside mediation step in) Just glad that Stardock gets my money directly in this case so will live with their (Stardock) decision for distribution.
Don't worry guys there rolling out the keys just takes time I'm on US EST time just got my key in a email. They have to generate the usual billing and receipt email with your key just takes time 
hmm， i dont see it on my steam or gamestop client, and i havent recieved my email either 
Neither can I! My Gmail is just sitting there in that tab open waiting for that number in parenthesis to go up by one...
EDIT: Weird: Just got my email, but it was an error! 
Had to re-pre-order. Now I'm probably at the bottom of the beta key list 
Yeah same for me, but I'm on the West side of the US so we shall see what happens. Just being patient.
I just got an e-mail. Turned out to be a facebook update from one of my fellow students. I was like: 
But by the time I realized it was'nt from Stardock I was like: 
It's not going to be on Impulse, and you will have to enter your key in Steam before you see it.
