Object dock scrolling

I use a tabbed dock, so when I add new Items to this dock they always show up at the left most side which is annoying, I would like to have them centered. and another annoying thing is that when I get too many icons to fit on my dock, it just doesnt show the last few. I want to know if there is a way to get a type of scrollbar so instead of having to make my dock one row taller, I could just have more icons and use my scroll wheel to scroll through them. Surprised it doesnt already have this feature for such an expensive program.

When you add more icons than a tab can hold, it starts a new row and gives you a plus image to see the rest.

 

Supposed to, at least. Do you not get that?

oh yeah, I guess i do, not sure if I like it that much but i guess itll have to do :/

If you set up a flyout docklet you can do some interesting scrolling using the arrows at the left and right.  Might give that a try too.
