WB text color.....

Is it possible to change the text color in the address bar on IE8 using skinstudio? If so, can some kind soul tell me where please, before I throw the 'puter out the window......... Thanks guys!! B[]

the graphic used is the search box and the address box is the same, you'd think the font color change under the "extra settings" would do something but it doesn't appear to. Added the info to the sks wiki

Wait a second BoXXi, apparently that text color can be changed as vStyler did it in his dark version of the Vox WB.  Not sure how though but you might try PM'ing him on it. I guess I was wrong. :S

 

Never mind asking John, I just figured it out.  The text color in the IE8 address bar is controlled by the Window Text color in SKS7.  At least in Windows XP with IE8 that is.  If you are in Vista or Win7 they should be running IE9. Hope that helps.

running ie8 on win7 and that does change the text color. wiki corrected.

I still run IE8 on 7, I blocked IE9 from installing as I heard it was awful. I'll take another look, see if I can get it to change..... thanks guys!! :)
