PC Gamer Shows Off New Rebellion Screenshots of the Titans

PC Gamer has some new screenshots up for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion showing off some of the Titan class battleships.

"The expansion will also add jumbo sized battlecraft called Titans. These monsters will be even bigger than capital ships and will be able to take on enemy fleets single-handedly. They’ll get to dissolve incoming pirate raids with new giant laser beams, prettified by a new lighting engine. See Titans and their pet lasers in action in these new screenshots."

it is good that Rebellion is getting exposure, though.  I hope this means they are close.

Oh my god !!! Those titans rocks !

Im still here and still waiting impatiently for rebellion :)

I was really excited by gamespy interview where we learned a lot more about the game and some of the exciting feature !!!

As many, I'm way intrigued by the Vasari when they said "they won't left their planet behind ... I have a wide imagination so I'm really expecting something awesome !!!! But they said maybe to behing able to deathstar a planet ? I thought It was a categoric no because of the engine ?

Anyway, I'm growing impatient and rebellion will be a total hit !!! My pre-order is set since its available and I lurk in the dark of the website and forums for new info and when will it be released lol :)

Sadly I think I going to lose a lot of friends and my social life definitely when the game will come out !

Sure, it is a joke and have nothing to do with news... in fact, the first sentence is already false :

Rebellion will be the first standalone expansion for the marvellous 4X space strategy, Sins of a Solar Empire.

Seem that these PCGamer journalist don't know about Trinity who was a standalone expansion !!!

Trinity wasn't a standalone expansion. It was a bundle - the vanilla game and two expansions, all in one. You could buy Entrenchment and Diplomacy and have all the features of Trinity.

the advent titan has a concentrated beam cannon of 3000dps.. wtf. this game is once again broken. i Can't believe they even went as low as calling it "epic cleansing brilliance with no cool-down". Please -oh god-please someone tell me this name is just the development code name because im really starting to get pissed at the developers.

\ryat you won't be laughing when you jump into a Transcencia Star Base, your fleet gets disabled and vaporized by a titan..

You guys are not being sirious because your not even asking the important questions like:

Do capital ships abilities affect Titans?

What happens when you get malice after malice from 3 mother-ships backing up the titan because remember that auto cast has been fixed to be more responsive.

Let say that i agree to your "bundle" thing... isn't Rebellion being a "bundle" of sins+ent+dip+reb...

And it is not because we cannot buy a rebellion expansions that it change something... it simply allow Stardock to make 40$ on the back of people who have already Trinity or Sins+Ent+Dip ... The standalone deal is only good for people who have never buy something from sins...

Well, i don't really complain about that economical strategy since the previous expansion was cheap and i have enjoy the game for numerous hours ( several hundred ) in the last 5 years... make sins a very cheap entertainment, only a few cent by hours...
