Destroyed Titans

What happens when a titan is destroyed?

We know that Titans are the biggest and best ship you can have in a game of SINS Rebellion.  But can you build another Titan if your first one is destroyed?  I don't think you can.  What do you think?

A player can only field one titan at a time and they're very expensive to get out. They require 2 capital ship crew slots and 150 fleet supply.

From what Yarlen has confirmed, 1 Titan will equal 3 cap ships in fleet supply....

Edit: If this isn't hard coded, the DS modders and players will have a field day with multiple Titans blowing each other up all over the galaxy. Excuse me, I need to get a towel.....

Nope, capital ships can be suggested of buy old hulls and rearming. Titans are a whole different subject.

In the words of Will Farrel: "YES!"

My carriers will launch titans instead of strike craft.

I love how I get credit for that.

Makes sense.

You could make the Pirate titan a smashed together mess of different capital ships.

C'mon, Ryat, this sounds like fun!

MET:? CRYS:?

It will cost a lot of crystal meth.

My only problem is with Pirate Titans is that they are Pirates with a Titan. The pirates done have gigantic production facilities or the money to build one. I mean highjacking one is plausible but its a titan to actually assault and highjack one is kind of strange. BUt one that is a compilation of a large amount of capital ships would be badass:D

Make it a half-titan... something of a cobbled together light or strike titan. Take one of each capital and weld them together in some neat fashion. Then, just to be an ass, make their abilities an amalgamation of the previously existing caps. Pirates will have a disturbing weapon that alone kicks ass, but is not beyond the force produced by a huge raid.

Kind of a random aside, but I hope when titans do die they leave nice race-specific chunks of ship behind. You need a little evidence of you handiwork when you kill one

Lol a pirate Titan. I hope you don't plan to make right when the game starts. You place a bounty and you are set to killing that person's fleet if you are lucky.

this is how the pirates get all their ships, hijacking. it's reasonable to assume they got a titan with a massive fleet. Have you seen a pirate pase late game that hasn't been taken out, hundreds of ships, the markers almost go out the screen.

Plus, the base itself doesn't have a frigate factory, everything jumps in

If you lose your first titan, won't your second one have to run from the one that killed your first one forever?

Can we all establish one key principal:

I can kill a titan with my bare hands and so can you.

If you don't believe me then your living proof that man can live without a brain.
