[resolved] Stardock Stealing my money?
Edit: ISSUE RESOLVED. Thank you!
Try to look at the store again... if nothing has appeared, make sure the email address you ordered from is the same as the one used to sign into the store. If not, let Support know and give them both email addresses.
Kind of going in a circle. But no it's still not there. I used the same email address for the order. Paid by credit card.
Don't know what else to do. Isn't anyone experiencing this issue like I am? surely people are buying the product too. thanks

One of a couple of things might be going on:
1) The fix that Rosco_P promised by "later today" and Zubaz thought had gone through either didn't or, it didn't 'stick'.
2) Your credit card purchase didn't register. Have you gotten a receipt email (look in your 'spam/junk' folder for it as well)? Did you try calling your credit card company to verify things on that end? If not, try calling their Customer Service during its hours of operation.
It's your bad luck that this is happening over a weekend (Support hrs. are M-F, 9-5), but your good luck that this thread is in a Support Forum and Suupport folks look at these threads over the weekends.
If I see Zubaz or Rosco_P in irc, I'll alert them that your try has gone awry, and ask them to take a look at the thread.
Sorry you're having crappy luck, but you're certainly welcome here... so let me be the first to say "Welcome, kamaratana!" and hope you make this your "home away from home". ![]()
I used a debit card* to clarify, so I can look if any charges has been made on my account. And yeah, it did go through, all it says it "waiting for authorization be vendor" or something like that. I printed a receipt/confirmation I got after i placed the order. It says "Order: being processed". I don't have any mail from stardock.com in spam or inbox. So I dont know ![]()
Debit cards might take a bit longer to clear... see what tomorrow brings. In the morning, check your store account again.
Checked this morning. Not there
Ugh, this is frustrating ![]()
Got the product, problem solved! Thank you!

Welcome kamaratana to WC. Sorry about your difficulty but elated that it was resolved. I would have come here earlier but I was busy banning and getting banned and not giving karma to folks not giving karma. So ...... hi.
Did I do it right?
Yes, welcome to Wincustomize ..... sometimes there are 'glitches'.... but they are rare.
Only frustration was it was your first interaction....and it was a 'glitch'.....;)
All swell that end swell ...:)
Been there done been there done that!
FIX IT!!!!!!!!!!
Are you still trying to use Impulse? We're no longer using it for Stardock software, so you should use the download site instead:
Your account is in order, so everything should be available there.
It's me again. This conversation reminds me of how hard my town is on new restaurants. It's not a small town, but not a large town either (15,000) We get a new restaurant in town (not very often) and everyone goes. First few days the food is really good and then the poor restaurant blows it (as happens in nearly every service start-up) So, the bunch of folks who go that day expect the same great service/food as what as been reported. It doesn't matter if they fix it the very next day or even by closing time, the word is out. It is a terrible restaurant and don't go. In our town that single happening is fatal to the restaurant. End of story.
At least here the restaurant got another try. ![]()
That payment machine must have been really messed up. In the past I have gotten what I bought as soon as I went to a different page. Now if they would just make a note on what I bought years ago that is no longer supported.
LizMarr: I don't see any open tickets in the support system for you (using the forum email). Is there somethign going on I can help you with? Hit us up at [email protected]
Zu....I expect LizMarr's comment was anecdotal, and not an issue with SD ....;)
It's the ol' "If a guy..." thing. There are parts of the country where no one ever gives advice by saying something like "You should..." or "I would...", they always start with "If a guy...", like "If a guy had a flat tire like this, he'd...". Oddest form of politeness I've ever encountered.
Just non-confrontational, I think... maybe. Sometimes.
i am new here and must say..i can't believe you people pay for themes docks skins that are free elsewhere on the internet
and for an os thats on its way out.!!
The themes/skins for ObjectDock are free, rcrskin... the program to apply them has a free opton as well: https://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/

All I wrote was something anecdotal about someone not getting what they expected and claiming the whole thing was bad and comparing that to the service industry. (which, in a way, the software industry is) I was telling the fellow that normally it don't work that way.
Just what does one do to get Karma?
Be helpful in the forums, be courteous, be awesome! It seems that the people that have the most karma are in the forums alot and are always helping others.
The more you're here the more you'll get.
How would I know?
Or be a redneck and have everyone feel sorry for you.... ![]()
