[SCREENSHOTS]: Some screenies from Fallen Enchantress

Pic heavy :D

Of course, it looks somewhat similar to E:WOM, but there's still lots of nice visuals. I've added E:FE to my Steam account so its easy to screen and publish. Here we go!

Last game:

The capital of my Kingdom, Northcastle.

The City of the Pit and the City of the Chasm, reached by means of Lower Earth... there was a mountain ridge in the way.

The Divide, conveniently located as a choke-point.

Overview of the entire kingdom from the south. You can see the hole I made in the mountain range with Lower Earth.

Sir Roderik, leading an army through the swamp-infested realms of the Elemental Morian. Who had a little accident a few years before, when my sovereign came along.

...speaking of which, here she is, the mighty Arya.

Very nice!

I really like how your cities look. I've just been dropping improvements wherever they fit. Looks like I should keep an eye on aesthetics too :-)

Some more screenies, this time from my game with the Kingdom of Orr.

Open fire! The Archers of the Hand, all dressed in purple, are justly feared for their skill.

OPEN FIRE! I teleported in with Thunder Strike and then finished up with Burning hands...

I did, in fact, turn around. Elementals are nothing to scoff at. Especially early in the game.

Nice city. I shall take it.

Those purple robed dudes at the bottom? They are mine by design... but not part of my army. Very strange.

Yeah, there is a bug where the AI uses your designs, and even your own colours!  However, the colours thing should change, and AI players should not use unit designs designed for another faction.

Yep, I saw that bug... funny that I saw it ingame afterwards.

I'll keep adding more shots... if anyone else has any shots, feel free to add em as well. I plan to play the Kingdom of Orr untill my armies are size 9, with size 9 units, all decked out in juicy-looking armor and outfits, and then create some different armies just for the looks. And then... we go to war (I made peace with Relias after taking that city, I now have an empire which is shaped like a T, upside-down, and the upper end of the T is a peninsula so I have a safe haven from which I can start my conquest).

wow, the world is green, the trees look like the original concept art.  So cool.  I loved the early pre-release art for EWOM, and was very disappointed at the dry, desert, boring colors in it.  FE, wow, love the colors, the green, the trees.  Thank you for all the screenies.  Perhaps I will do the beta after all - was planning to wait...

You've made me realize one reason I like the game a lot: the visuals are great!

Yes there is much variation. I will see about putting some landscape shots up as well. The visuals are much more appealing than in E:WOM. There, I did cloth map because the landscape was dull. Here, I enjoy looking at my armies and my cities a lot more. My favorite screenie so far is the one from the first section where it shows my entire kingdom, including three Shards... they just look amazing. The location of the City of Pits and City of the Chasm was also just awesomesauce... I love it. I wish the AI would name cities after close landmarks like that :D
