Anyone have any idea when the beta will come out? I pre-ordered Rebellion but got no comfirmation that I would be able to play the beta. Please advise.

I do not get what is your problem? You would be able to get the game off steam, but cant preorder from StarDock? It works exactly the same way, i mean you have to put the same informations about your credit/debit card into StarDock as you have to put into Steam, when you buy things from Steam Store.
With Steam you don't always need to put info about credit/debit card.
You can pay directly through your bank. Which is a great option.
At least, I assume it works this way for him seeing as his username is 'Dutch'-Buddha and as I live in the Netherlands myself...

You are 100% able to setup PayPal using your bank account as well.
Aye, but you have to transfer funds from your bank to Paypal which takes a few days. A few days too long for my liking. ^^
Yet in all the time we have been discussing this and likely all the time that we will remain discussing this, the transfer would have taken place, product purchased, and game downloaded.
