Where to report BUGs/Crashes - Support forum or stardock support site?

Hey Folks,

I'm a bit irritated where to report BUGs and CRASHs. In the BETA FAQ it is written that we shall open a thread here, which is fine. How to report a problem also states that we should use the forums, and the email in case we can't start the game at all.

However the sticky by island dog "Reporting Crashes" says that we should write an email to [email protected] (which effectively creates a ticket in their support system).

So were do I report problems? Does it matter? Stardock - what do you prefer?

I personally prefer reporting bugs at the stardock support site as I can upload the files there and don't have to fiddle with my dropbox. Plus I hope they are directly in Stardock's internal issue tracking system which gets the load of their shoulders.

A clarification what to do would be very much appreciated.

As long as the crash report support email is appropriately titled with the memory dump attached, it will get to the right place. That way saves users from needing to find somewhere to upload the file.

Yep that's also what I like about it (or uploading it directly in the webinterface).

Ok then I will report bugs/crashes to the website/via email and game change suggestion in the general FE Beta forum. Thanks for the answer.

I have sent 3 debug.err files now. Every game crashes after a while. I have gmail open and ready :) Sending them to [email protected] with subject Fallen Enchantress report

I'd also put some description of what happened in the body (i.e. what you were doing).

Plus on crashes you should better grab (on Windows 7): C:\ProgramData\Stardock\Elemental - Fallen Enchantress\*.zip

there are zips with time stamps, take the appropriate one. Be aware that at least on my machine ProgramData is a hidden folder.

I have bin conting how many bugs i have found in the game  from act 2- 3 14 of them and just going up good game but way too buggy
