No Download Email

Ok, I havent played E:WOM in over six months. But I was one of the people who preordered it and had to suffer through some of those tough times. I am interested in Fallen Enchantress and really want this game to succeed, so you can understand my joy when I heard its beta was being released. I logged on, went to the download page and saw- I was eligible for a free download! I was expecting this, but this confirmation made me happy. It said to check my email for the link, so I hurriedly opened Outlook. And what do I see? Nothing. Nada. Zilch. There was no email. I checked if someone else may have discarded it on accident somehow, and yet there was nothing in my email about the game. 

 

So:

What should I do? I'm at a loss. Do I have to wait for the email still, as in are there still people who will be getting it free and yet still haven't received an email also? I'd appreciate any help.

One more thing: that email, the one this account is under, isn't the one I really use anymore, so any pertient email should be sent to, or at least also sent to, [email protected], please and thanks. I tried changing the email, but I didn't seem to be allowed to.

Yet another thing: I tried opening Impulse for the first time in, as my original post said, six months. It tried logging in to update E:WOM, and yet was unable to do so. It could not log in, and it diagnosed it as the server it attempted to connect to denying my computer's request to connect. Could this be related?

Were you looking at the website purchase page or the Stardock Store downloads section? If it's showing on the latter, you should be able to just grab it regardless of the email.

If you're having trouble changing the address on your account, you will need to email [email protected] and they can get that taken care of.

No, Impulse is owned and operated by GameStop and is completely separate from our account systems.

Thanks for the reply. I'm afraid it is still not in my downloads section, which is why I asked about the email in the first place.

Did you pre-order it through Stardock, or from some other store?  if it's from any other source, you're going to have to wait a bit, sorry.  They don't really make that clear very often, which was a BIG source of frustration for me when I didn't see it available for download, and trust me, I check.  If you pre-ordered it through Stardock themselves and your not getting it, something's wrong.
