Hmmm.  I bet Wrath89 might give you a go.  I have limited time to play (about every week or so).  Let people know what times you have in mind.

Im generally free... most of the time I just need to know when everyone gets on.

Lol--all at different times.  Late at night for me usually.  Sometimes very early.  European players come on late in the day and are done in early evening for me.  Depends on where you live.

I'll pm you if I actually get some time and you can help me with a map.  I am EST (GMT-5).

I suggest you get online and get your ass kicked a few dozen times and in the mean time ask people for tips it's been working for me so far eheh

I'd play! I've been playing Sins for a long time, but only single player for whatever reason. I'm excited to play online now but I can never seem to join a game or get people to join one I make.

Congrats and you definately lucked out there. Getting an eco slot on your first game. I wish I was that lucky back when I first started but no I had to deal with nearly every pro in this game. QQ lulz

Congrats man. My first game was just a loss, but it was cool to see better players play. Apparently I didn't do awful.

If you want to host, host a game with Faster speeds, Quick Start, pirates off, locked teams, no Diplomatic victory, normal fleet sizes, on a single-star Random map.

When you join a 5v5 tell them you are new.  Ask questions.  Watch replays.

Host a game. Smaller games like 3v3 will attract newer players. Most vets play 5v5.

Why do you need friends?  Why not just join games that are open to the general public?  You could even start your own games with titles like "New Players Only".

Ironclad Online is where most of us go to play online (Some people just use Hamachi and other things).  I think it's the 3rd button on the main menu screen.  It'll require you to know the CD key for your version of Sins to register.

I'm usually happy to play with someone.  On Steam I'm SSG-ImperatorPavel.  Ironclad Online: ImperatorPavel or Aluxian_Resurgence.
