Though we think of the Republican Party consisting of white voters we forget that 45% of color votes the hard right line as well—mystifying. Of course, Miami and other key cities have a lot to do with it, since most of the ostensible "color" vote is Latino.

A growing number of 'color' voters are losing their taste for the Kool-Aid.  More enlightening than mystifying.

If the economy continues to tank—especially with unemployment high—Re  publicans will not become the party of color but simply more  whites.:'(

That doesn't make logical sense to me.  I see the opposite happening as more 'people of color' recognize that the Kool Aid does nothing to enable upward mobility, that it fosters economic stagnation rather than vitality & opportunity.
