Gaze: An eye tracking tool for Windows 8 – very cool

Neowin just published about a Swedish company (Tobii) which has invented a tool to make Windows 8 much cooler (though regrettably not any prettier).

If you watch the video, you’ll see that this tool is used in conjunction with a mouse or touchpad. Also, it could probably be used with a Wacom type device.

This device will be demo’d at CES 2012 at the MS booth.

So, to launch an app, just look (or gaze) at it and touch the pad… poof!

It does look cool Doc and thanks for showing. Really don't know if I will ever upgrade to 8 as I love the different skins I can put on my desktop and 8 will take that all away as it looks. What is one to do if they can't make a WB.

I'd put W8 on a tablet in a heartbeat.

As for my desktop? Thinkin' "Only if" that being "WB sí, Metro no."

End of Wizard1956's quote

With our luck, it'll shut down and not save anything before it does so.  ;P
