Randomize factions

I have tried to find a MOD that will let you choose the # of opponents (or even choose "random" for number of opponents), and then the MOD will randomly choose which opponents you will be facing in the game.  All I've seen thus-far is the MOD for creating random factions.  Is there a MOD out there that will choose a random # of factions to play against you?  I can't believe this wasn't included with the release... knowing the # of opponents (and especially who those opponents are) every game takes away a lot of the surprise.

I don't think there is something to do that.

However, it should be a small thing to do outside the game. The game saves what factions are used in the settings file. A simple exe could randomize those saved factions, and you'd be good to go.

Well yes. But really, if you want to learn how to edit a simple exe file, heck it could even be a bat script, google can help you do that.

If you do decide to conjure up something, I can help you with the in-game UI so the part that shows enemies when setting up games can be hidden.
