Ok, here's another Dsync bandit.  Vulvaboy.

And another: stagelund.

I cant rememer more right now, but to be honest this game is f*#*#1@ not worth playing while this exploit is in use. I've had a gut full of these assholes in DG its happening even MORE than ever before.

Any invalid gamestate game should automatically give win to ALL players and the host should get loss. that would fix it. and any incomplete game should be awarded a loss to the leaver.

I played once with hui_hui who also hosted and when loosing he left game invalidating it.

If we are making a list it's gonna be a long one...

Hui-Hui is the worst offender of them All. I'm surprised you didn't know about him. What amazes me is that people still join his games. To be safe Don't join a game that's hosted by someone who's likely to desync. Alternatively, Hui won't desync the game if he's winning so you could always get a full game so long as you make sure you lose.

If Demigod actually had some support cleaning out these bad apples, more people would stick around to play. I reckon half of demigod's reputation as a crashing game is from intentionally caused crashes. Too bad they never worked out how to combat this.

maybe pausing and transfering game hosting to another ?

Lukas I can't believe you can actually play a game with Hui given your connection quality to him in CN must be crapo like mine.. Apparently it was possible to "prove" a desync if you saved certain files after the crash happened and before you launched another game. Ask pacov if you are interested in this otherwise I found it useful to use the "notes" section in pantheon to keep a shitlist of desyncers as people change their name so often.

Am I on your shitlist yet (for being shit, not for desyncs)? :-P

I only ever played hui ages ago but quickly learned about his game desync addiction. Yes he has the worst connection too... they should have made demigod to automatically test your net speed and not allow you to play if your upload speed is shite.

Sorry Lukas for leaving as host. Had a little family emergency (note Really pissed off wife and crying baby) :) , next time i know to concede. I tought the game would still continue even if i left the game. I play alot of Company of heroes wich is another peer to peer game and the host leaving wont desync the game for the rest. In demigod i get a lot of desyncs , maybe 1/3 of my games are desyncs dont kno if its something in my end or normal for demigod? I have my ports forwared and firewall disabled.

Seems like a good game, havent played that many matches yet ,  the desyncs are just starting to get depressing!

hmm, dont host if it happens to you a lot.

I didnt have so bad luck. My invalid games are always to host leaving.

Hey VUlva I understand completely soz for any anger I also get the family stuff happening and have lost many a game due to crying son..demanding wife lol. Yeah, the concede button is best if you are leaving. I'm certain that leaving is not the problem though. I don't know how it's done, but people have found out how to cause "invalid gamestate" or "desync" and that's different from just leaving. When u dropped we got invalid gamestate.

U play COH! Awesome I gotta get back into that and thrash u. I was top 2% in COHO before they canned it, and my bro top 1%. :-) We got bored with winning believe it or not... Hero units for the win. After COHO I went back to coh for some time but got bored with no major game developments. Now I love Team fortess lol.

avoid playing with him,

ahhh, and one more

http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/player/75682

rook-feeder-afk,

he feeds opposite team, then he goes afk (80% of the match) and starts torrents so the ping is jumping up to 3k,

be carefull with them

Ah, if we are into rooks-feeders-afk, we should mention also stat-whore-hosts, shouldn't we? The funny guy Annon_ kicked me out of his lobby by claiming I'm a noob. This one, where he stacks like crazy and still cannot win against exactly one decent player -- The_M/TheThorns, since both sicky and Nikolus are notoriously bad: http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/2046080/player/97554/. When I tried to explain to him I'm not (thought he was genuinely mistaken because of my low game count on this account), I've got a lot of nice heart-warming messages (:

Be careful (no double 'l' here) with him.

(Maybe it's Red-One's alias? Can't think of any other Polish player that behaves in that way.)

I Actually got rid of desync error from my side by cleaning up my registry and reinstalling demigod. Or maybe im just been lucky picking the right games :)

I too got bored of coh, played it since it came out and stopped playing when coho came :) Im just hoping and praying for a coh2.

Yes, so KOgames and Annon_ (probably a not-that-subtle reference to Unknown Shadow) are Green and Red (: One can surely discern the assholish attitude from miles away, hehe. Welcome back, my ill-mannered Polish friends.

First of all, I am not Red ( you are making the same mistake that made those Canadian midgets when they goofed Red and me), yes i know him and he knows me but that's all, secondly Red no longer plays Demigod, he left Demigod once and for all and even Green and Black couldnt bring him back, Green is back, Black is back (they played recently common games) but not Red and he won't be back, check his gamelist he havent played game since April last year,

your argument is invalid, go be shit-for-brains somewhere else ; )

Well, Red was hosting a passworded "Merry Xmas" game, or something like that. But again, that doesn't matter much, Polish giant. Tell me, do you and KOgames have any intention of participating in a 2v2 tourney?

It is based on a point system that's been used for a 2010 3v3 tourney, with more fine tuning.

just curious -what did you decide to change up?  I've always just gone along with what other folks suggest for matchups and then get to tourney time and eventually see someone picking x combo over and over.

By the number of combos possible, my suggestion looks like that: UB & Rook - 2; Oak - 3; Ere - 4; Occ & QoT - 5; Sed - 6; TB - 7; DA & Reg - 9. So yes, as you can see, it basically follows the same scheme. I've just tried to make it less rigid by introducing some distinctions between 3 pt and 2 pt DGs.
