Make the solar systems more realistic.

I would like to get attention to those topics posted on the foum.

Planatary: Rebellion

and

Sol Vs Orion 2.0

https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/412416

I agree with all of the suggestion of the Planetary: Rebellion, with moons and diffrent shapes of planets and black holes and all that stuff.

But I also agree with the map Sol VS Orion 2.0.

I have played Sins a very long time and have had toughts about why the game do not have all the right elements and are like made by someone who does not completly understand how solar sysems work.

The setup of our solar system in Sol VS Orion 2.0 with some improvising due to lack of moons and such tings are what a Sins solar system should look like. But you could ofcourse add more phase lines at will.

What i do not find good with sins is that when you generate a new game the solar system looks like a garbage dump. 150 normalsized planets in the same solar system IS NOT COOL.

Instead of having 1 solar systems or 2 solar systems eith 300 planets have 10-20 small solar systems with max 15 planets each.

That would make sense. And make the planet placement logical too. All I am pointing out is that sometimes when you look out your bedroom window you see a Moon and when you play the game there are none.

You might like to try the Stars mod.

When Sins maps exceed 140 planets, performance begins to be effected.  Really long phase and wormhole lanes can take a long time to travel too--meaning a lot of waiting.

Lots of moons and debris increase memory use--but Sins does have some things in this area and Rebellion might add moons or features. Mainly it's a limitation of the 2gig memory limit for the 32bit systems which is what the Sins engine is designed for.

Sins is a game which was made for the gameplay, not for the realism. With good reason; people buy the game for the gameplay!

The systems are fine as is IMO. If you don't like any of the preset or random maps you can create new maps yourself that look more asthetically pleasing to you if you wish.

The Stars mod makes Star systems look bigger and more spread out.
