i have just started and i need some pepol that would like to do co op .also i do not know why but i hate doing pvp.i also have a mic but i only think it works on skype.
PvP is great fun, but not if you're brand new! I recommend playing the game offline in single player for a couple months until you can manhandle the Hard level AI and beat the Unfair AI without much difficulty with each race. That will give you time to learn about all of the units and tech trees, etc., and there's a lot to learn. Then, after you have mastered the mechanics of the game, acquired knowledge of the race's, the units, the tech trees, and the starbases and can whoop the AI, then log onto ICO again and start learning the PvP game.
That should put you in pretty good shape for when Rebellion is released (and presumably fills the ICO server with large numbers of new players).
Find someone to play with online. People who have played a long time usually want to play against other people online--but some like "comp stomps"-where humans play the computer AI.
There are still quite a few steam players who trickle into the forums who are new and want to play like you. Watch for posts.
If you see me on I will play with you but I am not always on. Here is a very large map you might like if you are playing by yourself.
