I don't mind jumping on and using my 50 in heroics/fp to help you hit 50.  Just pm me if you are on and want to team up.  Easy as that.

I believe (if I'm not mistaken) that the player you are helping also gains less XP if being "run through" the flashpoints/quests by a player too much higher in level than they are.

Yes, the higher level guy gets NOTHING and the proper level guy gets very little in XP. But with four you can get still get good loot and such. Flipside there are a lot of high level flash points.

yah - and he's a 48 and I'm a 50, so its not exactly a huge diff.

We could run the lvl 47? flashpoint over and over.

If nothing eles I could grind it out via Warzones. Except I'll get stuck doing Hutball 90% of the time. I dont like that one.

Still a slow way of doing it. It's really hard to finish the class story and not hit 50 unless you ignore everything else on Corellia... and I was 50 on Voss. Space missions also give tons of XP.

Trying to farm Flashpoints is probably one of the slowest ways you can do it.

If you've got them unlocked, the Ilum/Belsavis dailies are good too (at least for Republic characters, don't know what the Imperial equivalent of Belsavis is). Not sure you can unlock Belsavis' dailies until you're already 50 though.

Space missions are a great way to get xp.  Completely agree.  I do spend a good 20 minutes daily to get 20-40k exp running space missions.

I did skip alot of quest. ALOT. Mostly Heroics. *shrug* did feel like waiting for a group to form up for them.

At any rate, lvl 49 and about 1/3 the way to 50. Im on Illum doing what I assume is the planet story arc. There are alot of quest I couldnt here, I assume then are the Dailies. 

Yep, Heroics is where the big XP is. I have all of my characters overleveled because I almost always did the heroics (I ditched the Hoth quests with my sentinel and my commando is moving on from Tatooine without Jawas Concern).

Side - OMG - the "final" battle with a certain someone as the imperial agent is so freaking bug ridden crapiness.  They absolutely wrecked the experience.  For instance, I had to fight the guy multiple times.  I, a sniper, that engages from a distance, could not "see" the enemy unless I walked right up on him and zapped him in the face... and even then I couldn't necessarily get a lock on him from cover.  Completely excruciating... and I had to do it like 3-4 times.  Big fail.  Also, I get the feeling the imperial agent storyline was a bit rushed to complete.  I'm doing all this cool stuff... next thing I know I'm at the end of the story very suddenly.  I don't want to say more to ruin it, but I seriously hope they knock out some of those bugs.  Its quite wretched. 

I heard that it was bugged for IA. I am going to start some new characters and wait for fixes. 

yeah - not fixed.  Just did it tonight.  Super disappointing.  I'm happy to say after playing on that I'm still in the main storyline, but that was really terrible.  So much build up for a great moment and I'm just sitting there completely annoyed.  Anyway, hope they fix this soon for folks. 

They got a lot to fix. But I am sure they will. Hope you continue to enjoy the rest of the ride.

As for me, I got to lvl 50 with my Sentinel. Haven't finished the class quest but I feel I will soon. The main issue now is gearing. Sentinels are hard to gear as their stuff is hard to find. Had to create an alt with cybertech in hopes of getting some good armoring pieces as you CANT get good might armoring pieces and the stuff on GTN is (understandably) expensive.

carbon - when are you playing anymore?  I'm typically on between 8PM EST 11PM EST or round abouts and haven't bumped into you in a bit.

nah - I was likely on a space mission so I didn't see it in the chat (chat closes completely when you do missions... and I take about 22 minutes doing the space missions.  Anyway, that's why.

To get back on topic, I tried out the free to play weekend on this. Was certainly pretty fun but I don't have time for MMOs, so I'll probably wait until its where WoW is now, with the game pretty much done with expansions and you can get a good deal on everything.

Well, if its about the old republic, it is on topic.  re: lula's post and same sex marriage, etc, I really don't know why this is even a desired game feature.  As it stands, there is no marriage, etc, in the game that I'm aware of.  Is this something that they have in WoW or something (eg marriages)?  Personally, I think the idea of having the option to marry someone in game silly... and would likely lead to some creepy things (some 45 year old gamer marrying at 12 year old and what have you).  And that's just talking about marriage in general.  Just seems like an idiotic thing to lobby to have. 

re: the free weekend - yeah, I was glad to see that they were opening things up a bit to get in more folks.  Looking forward to when they change things up so that you can play up until X level without buying the game.  That said, my accounts staying canceled until they get more development done with useful features or have an expansion or w/e.  MMO's are something I just can't see myself playing for long durations of time... think I lasted like 2-3 months tops and then dropped my sub because I became bored with it.
