Play the Game on Secondary Monitor Possible?

Hello,

as my title says, i would like to know if it is possible to somehow switch the game to secondary monitor. Because it does not have a frame also not in "windowed mode" i cannot drag and drop it.

does anyone has a solution how to switch to secondary monitor which is in my case a TFT that is much bigger than the laptop primary screen.

Thank you,

greetings,

I wouldn't mind a little more monitor flexibility either.

I always thought it would be cool to assign seperate monitors for hotseat, can't stand people watching me play, but love hotseat (would keep us from haveing to leave the room when another plays).  Hotseat has always seemed like a good way for people to pull others into a game that they wouldn't normally play (I tell all my friends & family about Elemental, about the love StarDock gives, but few actually look into what's goin on, hotseat allows me to show them the game while being able to add 'roleplaying' to it of my own to make the game more interesting to them until they get the style of my type of games down (strategy).  E:FE seems like it will be easy enough on the eyes & that it will be full of interesting things enough to help me out a bit here.  Sorry went on a tangit, not really helpfull here.

(At one time I had two neighbors & 3 family members & myself, all playing a 3 day game of ROTK I, granted this was on a consule, but just shows what a little extra rping can do to get others in.  Each battle took about 1h30m on average, but was able to keep all intertained)

Last time I played on hotseat with Battle Isle :) But this is good idea too.

1st monitor : main game layer

2nd monitor : cities stats/diplomacy/magic/ etc

Should be no problem with programming?

It's sort of sad that game developers still refuse to admit that second monitors are relatively common anymore.  One of the few games that I remember even supporting dual monitors was Supreme Commander.  Honestly, it made the game feel a lot cooler than it would've otherwise.

With a bunch of hassle, you could do splitscreen Left 4 Dead across a dual monitor setup.  I used to play online with my roommate all the time like this.  However, it wasn't officially supported (to say the least) and was sort of a pain to get setup.  With minimal effort, that could've been a real feature, and a lot more people could've taken advantage of it....

Any sort of second monitor use would be ace.  Typically, the best use would be:  big, blow up map, and some basic/important stats.
