Going to get back to work on the folders this week. Maaaaan, there are so many of the damn things, lol!

Progress has been slow lately. Winter depression has been hitting hard so my motivation's pretty low. Plus I'm still waiting for my damn Wacom tablet to turn up. Two weeks now and don't even know what is happening with it because the courier company tried delivering it three times... to the wrong bloody address! Freakin' morons! That resulted in it being returned to sender, so my partner is hoping to hear something from Amazon soon. Really pissed 'cause I need it for a couple of folder related things.

Anyhoo, just thought I'd post an update. OP image has been changed, but seven icons in two weeks is totally weak. My apologies.

The package is getting there slowly, but it is getting there. With any luck I'll have the folders completely finished soon, as I'd been waiting for my graphics tablet to turn up. Now I have it (hassah!) there are a couple of folder icons I can look at getting done. Hopefully the wait will have been worth it. In the meanwhile, I'm finishing working on a Recycle Bin icon, which I'm very happy with so far.

That bin looks great. One small tip: the gloss on the front of the can does not match up with the gloss on the lid.

You've definitely got some talent! Keep it up.

To be honest, I'm stumped as to why these are turning out so well. I may be far from the days when I just slapped a heavy Bevel & Emboss on stuff and called it done, but these are way beyond what I normally turn out. The only possible explanation I can think of, is that I used to just make icons for myself. These are for the community, so I've had to kick things up a notch (or five) for me to be happy with them. Plus they're being made to go with an existing Windowblind, and I don't want to besmirch Cyndie's hard work with inferior icons.

  This is gonna be one killer IP!
