Very Sad News…. Skin Artistry 2 Is Shutting Down.

This morning, I was cruising and looking … and found some not so great news.

One of the visually most beautiful and friendly sites for skinners, Skin Artistry 2 will be shutting down come October 30th.

 

The following notice was posted…..

 

 

Sa2…. reppiks, Betty, Pictoratus, Barb, Po’, and so many more…. thanks for all the good times. I’m going to miss Sa2.

I won’t be alone in that. :(

Yes, it is.

Those of us who have been around 'forever' can remember a veritable host of skinning sites that have passed on.

SA is yet another.  I know times change....circumstances change.... but with each loss the world of skinning gets a little lonelier.

Wouldn't it be possible to at least archive the forum threads? The tutorials and such, if nothing else. Maybe a kind or free web host?

yep... very sad news... :-|

was just over there and about to suggest the same thing.... that perhaps WC take over the tutorials if they were likeminded.... takes time to put those together, would be a pity to lose them....

I have been  a member there   for a long time altho I must admit I haven't been there in recent times, I will be sad to see it close .  Sa  will be missed

Pictoratus, who is the man behind the desk at SA, just underwent major surgery. It's too bad that another small site is going under, but he kept going as long as he could.

i resigned as an admin there well over a year ago...I miss it and will miss it even more now....as mentioned things change...farewell SA2:')
